Job description

  • Manage two distinct Scrum teams, Data Platform & Analytics.
  • Serve as a hands-on Scrum Lead, moving beyond a purely coaching role to actively facilitate and drive team outcomes.
  • Advocate for and roll out Agile processes (Scrum, Kanban) with a focus on value and business results, not process for its own sake.
  • Apply advanced foundational agility knowledge, including flow metrics, story points, and throughput, to improve team performance.
  • Drive change management and secure organizational buy-in for new processes.
  • Ensure accountability and ownership of team deliverables, aligning with organizational OKRs.
  • Navigate fast-paced environments with shifting priorities, influencing leaders and teams to maintain effective operating rhythms (e.g., ensuring retrospectives and planning are valued).
  • Demonstrate a strategic mindset, focusing on optimization and continuous improvement, and an interest in applying automation and AI to processes.

Requirements

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Scrum Lead / Master to manage two core Scrum teams within our organization. The ideal candidate is a hands-on "do-er" with 10+ years of experience who can bring technical context to process advocacy. This role requires strong foundational Agile knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence leaders and teams while driving high accountability and value delivery., * Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience

  • Agile Expertise: Must possess foundational agility certifications and deep knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and elements of large-scale frameworks (e.g., elements of SAFE/Big Room Planning).

  • Technical Acumen: Strong preference for candidates with a technical background (e.g., developer who transitioned to Scrum), or a process-oriented individual who is a demonstrable "rock star" with the ability to add value across the organization.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

  • Ability to "read the room," flex approach based on team dynamics, and indirectly influence stakeholders.

  • Strong attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and concepts, particularly in the realm of AI and process optimization.

  • Team Context Knowledge: Experience in data engineering and/or analytical environments is highly valued:

  • Experience with Data Platform/Data Engineering concepts

  • Experience with reporting and analytical tools like Tableau
