Job description

Design, develop, document, and troubleshoot web-service integrations (SOAP, REST, etc.) across cloud environments in collaboration with engineers and business partners. Lead development, integration, and testing of distributed, high-capacity, multi-function service infrastructures supporting large-scale user bases. Work with the Agile/Scrum teams to deliver guest experiences aligned with established architectural standards. Write and test code with comprehensive unit testing and partner with product teams to address platform needs. Develop backend services using Java and build frontend frameworks with JSP and React.js. Implement secure and reliable systems by applying authentication and encryption mechanisms, and actively monitoring system health using Splunk, Dynatrace, and Datadog. Requires up to 10% domestic travel.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree, foreign equivalent, or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive experience in Technology, Software Engineering, or a related occupation.

Requires progressive experience in full-cycle software development within Agile environments; utilizing Spring Batch, PostgreSQL, data structures, algorithms, and microservice architecture; building HTML, CSS, JSP, React.js, RESTful/GraphQL APIs using Java and Spring Boot; working with caching solutions such as Redis or AWS ElastiCache; leveraging AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, IAM), Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub; driving full-stack architecture and code quality through rigorous testing by implementing unit tests using Junit 5, Mockito, and Selenium; and maintaining and optimizing databases to ensure reliability, performance, and scalability.

Benefits & conditions

Salary: $175,500 to $179,500 per year
