Job description

Join a dynamic team as a Data Analyst in Pittsburgh, PA (15275) and play a key role in supporting pricing accuracy and operational excellence for a leading organization. This contract position offers hands-on experience with data tools and pricing strategies while working collaboratively across departments. [Responsibilities] Organize and manage the pricing inbox, assign ownership, and ensure timely follow-up and resolution of pricing-related inquiries Support customers, commercial, and purchasing teams to facilitate pricing accuracy and updates Coordinate and execute price updates across US and Canadian regions Engage with unresponsive suppliers through email, phone, or online research to obtain and update pricing information in AS400 Partner with internal teams to plan and implement pricing requests and updates Maintain product price data and attributes, including customer-specific pricing where required Develop and maintain macros in Excel and Access to automate routine tasks Process data, generate, and edit reports using Cognos, meeting established upload targets Train new hires within the pricing team and contribute to cross-departmental training Lead by example, promote a positive work culture, and suggest process improvements

Requirements

Bachelor s degree or 3+ years equivalent work experience in business, pricing, or finance 2-5 years experience in a data-driven, pricing, or finance environment High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Access Analytical mindset and strong attention to detail Effective communicator with excellent organizational skills Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines Strong customer service orientation [Preferred Skills] Experience with AS400, Cognos, PowerBI, Smartsheets, AMPS Macro development and maintenance Report generation and data automation Training and leadership experience
