YOUR MISSION
As a Data Steward, your main mission will be to support the quality, structure, documentation, and continuous improvement of business data across the organization.
You will play a key role in ensuring reliable master data, clear business rules, well-documented processes, and structured data flows, especially in the context of ERP migration, data transformation, and system evolution projects.
You will act as a bridge between business teams, IT, Supply Chain, Operations, and project teams, translating business needs into clear data structures, process documentation, and actionable improvements.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Master Data Quality & Governance
Contribute to the management, control, and continuous improvement of master data quality.
Perform regular data consistency checks and identify anomalies, duplicates, missing information, or incorrect structures.
Support the definition and documentation of master data rules, ownership, structures, and governance principles.
Help ensure that master data is accurate, complete, reliable, and aligned with business needs.
Contribute to the documentation of master data structures, dependencies, and usage across systems.
Process & Documentation
Document business processes, data flows, system interactions, and operating procedures in a clear and structured way.
Translate operational knowledge into reliable documentation, process maps, rules, and user-friendly guidelines.
Support the formalization of business rules and ensure they are understood, shared, and maintained over time.
Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or improvement opportunities in existing processes and documentation.
Ensure that documentation remains accurate, up to date, and accessible to both business and technical stakeholders.
ERP Migration & Data Transformation Projects
Support data preparation, cleaning, validation, and mapping activities in the context of ERP migration and transformation projects.
Contribute to data readiness assessments and help identify risks related to data quality, structure, or completeness.
Support business teams during migration phases by consolidating inputs, tracking corrections, and documenting decisions.
Participate in test preparation, follow-up of user acceptance testing, and consolidation of feedback.
Help structure and secure data-related activities during system evolutions, roll-outs, or process changes.
Data Flows, Interfaces & System Understanding
Develop a good understanding of data flows and interactions between systems.
Monitor and analyze data-related issues linked to interfaces, parameters, or incorrect master data.
Support the identification of root causes when data flows do not work as expected.
Contribute to improving the reliability of inter-system data exchanges.
Execute manual data or synchronization actions when required, while ensuring proper follow-up and documentation.
Operational Support & Ticket Analysis
Provide support to business users on data, process, or system-related questions.
Participate in Level 1.5 ticket analysis when issues are related to master data, business rules, process gaps, or data flows.
Clarify user requests, document problems, and prepare structured inputs before escalation to IT when necessary.
Ensure that recurring issues are captured and transformed into improvement actions, documentation updates, or preventive controls.
COLLABORATION
Work closely with Supply Chain, Operations, IT, Master Data, Project, and business teams.
Act as a link between operational users and technical teams, with a strong focus on data and business understanding.
Support cross-functional initiatives related to data quality, process standardization, ERP migration, and system improvement.
Proactively raise risks, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities.
Contribute to building stronger data discipline and process clarity across the organization.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in Supply Chain, Data Analysis, Business Administration, IT, Project Management, or a related field.
A first experience or strong interest in master data, data governance, data migration, or business transformation projects.
Junior profile welcome, with strong motivation and willingness to learn.
Good understanding of data logic, process flows, business rules, and system interactions.
Very comfortable with Excel and data manipulation.
Structured, analytical, rigorous, and detail-oriented.
Curious, proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented.
Comfortable working with different stakeholders, including business users, project teams, and IT.
Excellent level of English, both written and spoken. French is a plus but not mandatory.
Flexible and willing to travel between sites and teams according to business needs.
Experience in Supply Chain, Master Data, Data Stewardship, ERP environments, or migration projects is a plus.
