Job description
Launched in 2022 and now live with Ligue 1 club SCO Angers, Eventori is entering a clear acceleration phase. We're looking for a Lead Software Engineer who wants to own the technical foundations of a product that will redefine how sports clubs fill and monetize their stadiums.
Reporting directly to Charles, Wiremind's CTO and Co-founder, you will be a highly hands-on technical leader owning both the architecture and a significant share of the most complex development work. You will spend ~70% of your time as an Individual Contributor (writing code, leading critical technical challenges, and setting the quality bar) while dedicating ~30% to coordination, mentoring, and bridging product, engineering, and leadership teams.
You will collaborate closely with our existing Frontend and Backend Leads and Developers, Product Owners, and Sales to ship scalable, quality-first solutions that meet the specific business needs of the event industry.
Technical vision & architecture
- Define and maintain a global architecture vision (frontend + backend).
- Own key technical decisions: refactoring, scalability, trade-offs between new features and technical debt.
- Improve collaboration across teams by breaking down existing communication silos.
Project & product ownership
- Deeply understand the business and product context to make the right implementation choices.
- Collaborate with product owners to identify the most efficient path to delivery and ensure consistent planning.
- Be responsible for ensuring technical quality, performance, and maintainability.
Hands-on engineering
- Own and deliver the most complex and critical parts of the codebase (frontend & backend).
- Set and enforce engineering best practices through code reviews, pair programming, and direct contributions.
- Lead by example on architecture, code quality, and performance - your code is your most powerful lever.
Team leadership & coordination
- Support and coach the existing developers to grow their skills and autonomy.
- Facilitate technical alignment between frontend and backend teams, breaking down silos.
- Be the main technical interface with Product Owners and leadership, translating business needs into sound technical decisions.
Technical stack:
- Backend: Python 3.7+, SQLAlchemy, Remoulade (in-house task queue), GraphQL APIs
- Frontend: Next.js (front office), Angular (back office), TypeScript, D3.js
- Data-store: Postgresql, Elasticsearch, Redis
- Gitlab for continuous delivery
- Kubernetes for infrastructure
- Prometheus/Grafana and Kibana for operations
Requirements
- You have 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong track record as an Individual Contributor on complex products.
- You are primarily a builder: you love writing code, solving hard technical problems, and raising the quality bar through your own output.
- Strong fullstack background with a backend-first mindset (Python), fully comfortable owning frontend work (Next.js or equivalent).
- You have led or mentored engineers before, but your first instinct is still to dive into the code.
- Good communication skills, able to collaborate with Product and align technical decisions with business priorities - without spending most of your time in meetings.
- Bonus: Experience in SaaS, event-tech, or working on complex interfaces and operations-heavy B2B2C products.
- You have a native or fluent level in French
Benefits & conditions
- A self-financed startup with a strong tech identity!
- Beautiful 800 m² offices in the heart of Paris (Bd Poissonnière)
- Attractive remuneration indexed on performance
- A caring and stimulating team that encourages skills development through initiative and autonomy
- A learning environment with opportunities for evolution
You will also benefit from:
- A hybrid policy: 2 days of remote work per week and the possibility to work occasionally from abroad
- Access to WellPass at a preferential rate to maintain your well-being
- A great company culture (monthly afterworks, regular meetings on technology and products, annual off-site seminars, team-building…)
