This role is responsible for Level 3 (L3) RUN activities, ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our global network and SASE platforms.

The position acts as a technical escalation point, driving resolution of complex incidents, improving operational excellence, and contributing to continuous service improvement across regions.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Lead Network & SASE RUN Expert to strengthen our Global Network & SASE Operations.

This role is responsible for Level 3 (L3) RUN activities, ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our global network and SASE platforms.

The position acts as a technical escalation point, driving resolution of complex incidents, improving operational excellence, and contributing to continuous service improvement across regions.

Key Responsibilities

L3 Operations & Incident Management

  • Act as the primary escalation point (L3) for complex incidents and service requests.
  • Lead advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) for network and SASE issues.
  • Ensure timely resolution aligned with SLA/MTTR objectives.

Network & SASE Operations

Operate and support global network infrastructure, including:

  • Cloud Networking (Azure): VNet, Application Gateway, Load Balancer, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways
  • Security: Palo Alto NGFW
  • SASE: Zscaler ZIA / ZPA (policy, access, troubleshooting)
  • Core Services: DNS, IPAM

Operational Excellence & Continuous Improvement

  • Identify recurring issues and drive permanent fixes with engineering teams.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives (reducing manual operations).
  • Optimize network performance and ensure proactive monitoring and alerting.

Governance & Processes

  • Ensure strict adherence to ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change).
  • Maintain high-quality technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge base.
  • Support global standards enforcement and alignment with intetnal policies.

Collaboration & Support

  • Work closely with Global Network, Security, Cloud Architecture, and regional teams.
  • Support major changes, deployments, and critical events.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for critical incident coverage.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Expertise

  • Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, routing & switching, SD-WAN
  • Cloud networking (Azure): VNet, NSG, Load Balancer, ExpressRoute, VPN
  • Security: Palo Alto firewalls (advanced operations)
  • SASE: Zscaler ZIA / ZPA
  • Core services: DNS and IPAM

Operational Skills

  • Strong experience in L3 support in enterprise environments
  • Proven ability to handle critical incidents under pressure
  • Solid understanding of ITIL (v3/v4)

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting mindset
  • Clear communication and stakeholder management
  • Ability to work in a global, multi-region environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certifications (one or more): Cisco CCNP / CCIE Palo Alto PCNSE Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Zscaler ZCCP / ZCP ITIL v4
  • Experience in global enterprise environments
  • Previous role as Lead / Senior L3 Engineer
