Job description

As a Technical Services Engineer at Patchworks, you'll play a key role in supporting our customers and partners with expert-level technical solutions.

This is a hands-on role where you'll help partners and clients implement robust integration solutions, resolve complex technical challenges, and contribute to the growth of Patchworks' technical services practice., * Provide hands-on technical development and engineering services to support professional services customers and partners.

  • Support key partners as they implement integration solutions for Patchworks customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Technical Services to shape the roadmap and delivery of technical services.
  • Participate in internal knowledge sharing and contribute to the creation of technical documentation and best practices.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years in a development or engineering role within a SaaS business.
  • 1-2 years experience in a technical support or project engineering role, preferably focused on systems integration.
  • Proven experience working with ecommerce systems such as Shopify, NetSuite, and other ERP/WMS/3PL platforms
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to guide others through complex technical challenges.
  • Confident in communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Desirable:

  • Experience with APIs (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), webhooks, and authentication protocols like OAuth and SQL
  • Familiarity with iPaaS platforms and middleware solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) and monitoring tools.
