- Collaborating with engineers, architects, and delivery teams to solve complex technical problems
- Developing modern front-end applications using JavaScript/TypeScript and React
- Building scalable backend systems using technologies such as Java, Python, or Go
- Working with cloud platforms including AWS or Azure to optimise performance, reliability, and scalability
- Using Docker and containerisation technologies to improve deployment consistency and efficiency
- Supporting CI/CD pipelines and automation to streamline software delivery
- Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code aligned to engineering best practice
- Contributing to code reviews and technical discussions to improve quality across the team
- Keeping pace with emerging technologies and helping shape better ways of working
Requirements
- Strong software engineering background with experience across full-stack development
- Backend development experience using Java, Python, or Go
- Commercial experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and React
- Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of Git and collaborative development workflows
- Experience with Docker and containerised applications, with Kubernetes exposure beneficial
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing
- Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
- Familiarity with Agile delivery environments and secure development principles
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- A curious, adaptable mindset with a passion for solving technical challenges
