Job description

  • Contributing to the design and development of mechanical, electrical or control systems
  • Supporting the creation of design documentation, specifications and technical drawings
  • Collaborating with engineering teams to refine designs and resolve technical challenges
  • Ensuring designs meet relevant standards, regulations and quality requirements
  • Participating in design reviews and providing technical input
  • Supporting the transition of designs from concept through to manufacturing or implementation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Controls or related discipline)
  • Demonstrated experience in product design or engineering design roles
  • Proficiency with CAD software and design tools
  • Working knowledge of relevant engineering standards and compliance requirements, such as ISO 9001
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively within engineering teams and communicate technical concepts clearly

Nice-to-have experience could include:

  • Experience with specific design methodologies or simulation tools
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes or design for manufacturability
  • Experience in regulated industries or quality-driven environments
  • Additional technical certifications or specialist expertise
