Job description

About the Role: EG Group are looking for an SAP CoE Analyst to join our Technology function, supporting SAP governance, IT General Controls, testing coordination and controlled documentation across a complex SAP environment. You will play a key role in ensuring SAP processes, controls and supporting evidence are accurate, well maintained and audit-ready. Working closely with the SAP Centre of Excellence, Business Analysts, IT, Finance and programme stakeholders, you will support both transformation activity and business-as-usual operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with SAP, ERP systems, IT controls, audit, governance or systems support experience who is highly organised and looking to develop within a structured SAP CoE environment., * Supporting the ownership and maintenance of SAP IT General Controls (ITGCs), including coordinating evidence collection, maintaining control records and ensuring assigned controls are audit-ready.

  • Maintaining the SAP CoE documentation library, ensuring process documentation, interface documentation and support materials are accurate, version controlled and reviewed on time.
  • Identifying documentation gaps and coordinating subject-matter experts to produce documentation to agreed standards.
  • Facilitating System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activity by coordinating stakeholders, maintaining test plans and trackers, monitoring progress and organising test evidence.
  • Supporting the escalation of programme-level testing blockers, risks, actions and dependencies through the appropriate governance channels.
  • Maintaining RAID logs, governance trackers, status reports and governance packs across SAP initiatives.
  • Supporting agreed process-mapping activity to help translate business requirements for technical teams, working within the established PMO framework.
  • Working closely with Business Analysts, IT, Finance and wider stakeholders to ensure SAP changes, governance outputs and documentation are delivered accurately and on time.

Requirements

  • Experience working in an SAP, ERP systems, finance systems, IT controls, audit, governance, PMO or systems support environment.
  • Basic working knowledge of SAP systems, with awareness of core modules such as FI, MM, SD or HCM.
  • Experience maintaining controlled documentation, including SOPs, process maps, governance documentation or version-controlled records.
  • Exposure to SIT and/or UAT coordination, including test planning, stakeholder coordination, progress tracking or test evidence management.
  • Awareness of IT General Controls (ITGCs), internal controls, audit evidence or compliance requirements.
  • Experience maintaining trackers, RAID logs, action logs, reports or governance packs.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the confidence to coordinate activity across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • A proactive, structured and collaborative approach, with a willingness to learn and develop within an SAP Centre of Excellence environment.
  • Experience supporting SAP transformation, governance or controls activity would be advantageous.
