Job description
As Social Media Specialist, you will help shape how a growing global cybersecurity company tells its story across social media, YouTube, and its corporate blog. This is a hands-on execution role for someone who enjoys creating content, managing social channels, publishing across multiple platforms, and engaging with online communities. While a dedicated manager will own the overall social media strategy, you'll play a key role in bringing that strategy to life through day-to-day content execution, channel and community management. Working closely with editorial, communications, and marketing teams, you'll help ensure company stories are consistently published, optimized, and delivered across social media, YouTube, and the corporate blog as the organization continues to expand its digital presence. This role provides full benefits and is a remote role; however, preference is given to someone located in Austin, Texas, or in the other states in which we operate: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, NC, NV, OH, TN, TX, UT, VA, and WI.
- Execute the team's social media strategy developed by the Social Media & Content Manager.
- Manage day-to-day publishing across the company's social media channels and respond to the community.
- Create and publish social media content using Sprinklr, LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Manage the publishing process to ensure content is delivered accurately and on schedule.
- Optimize YouTube posts with appropriate copy, SEO, and emerging AI/LLM content considerations.
- Monitor social channels and respond to customer comments.
- Help build and support a customer engagement (CX) program across social channels.
- Collaborate with editorial, communications, and marketing teams to distribute company stories across multiple channels.
- Assist in developing repeatable publishing workflows and content management processes as the team grows.
Requirements
- 2-4 years managing professional social media channels and working with corporate blogs or editorial content and experience in a Social Media Specialist role
- Highly skilled with social tools with a preference for Sprinklr
- Background managing LinkedIn and YouTube content for a B2B organization.
- Comfortable engaging with online communities and customer conversations.
- Hands-on content publishing and scheduling across multiple digital channels.
- Experience writing or adapting copy for social media posts.
- Content and SEO optimization skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to publishing accuracy and deadlines.
- Interest in how AI and large language models are changing content discovery and search., * Sprinklr is strongly preferred
- Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or similar social media management tools
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4) or Google Search Console
- Design tool basics (Canva, Adobe, etc)
