Job description

  • Design, develop, debug, test, document, and implement Salesforce Health Cloud customizations and enhancements.
  • Evaluate, support, and test vendor-supplied software packages, upgrades, and patches.
  • Research application functionality and business processes while recommending improvements to maximize application capabilities.
  • Assist with planning, coordination, and direction of Salesforce Health Cloud modifications in collaboration with Salesforce Health Cloud Administrators.
  • Design user interfaces and workflows based on business requirements.
  • Analyze, design, and develop code supporting multiple system interfaces and data integration services using Salesforce APIs.
  • Convert logical designs into production-ready application code.
  • Analyze, review, and rewrite programs to improve performance and support changing business requirements.
  • Perform complex coding assignments and participate in senior-level code reviews.
  • Serve as a technical and functional resource for entry-level developers.
  • Provide production support, troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution for end users.
  • Coordinate communications related to application upgrades, fixes, and new functionality.
  • Develop system and program test plans, prepare test data, conduct testing, evaluate results, and implement code revisions.
  • Maintain technical documentation, system design documentation, instructional materials, and change control documentation.
  • Provide escalation assistance for daily trouble ticket resolution.
  • Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, user stories, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Participate in project review and status meetings.
  • Perform on-call support as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field with coursework in programming and database systems, or equivalent experience.
  • U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation.
  • 5+ years of general application development and support experience.
  • 3 years of hands-on Salesforce Health Cloud experience.
  • 3 years of experience with a Salesforce DevOps toolset and CI/CD practices.
