The Network Implementation Engineer II responsibilities include design and preparation of Engineering Work Orders for land developments, new buildings, single line requests, Rehab, DSL, FTTN, FTTH, FTTT, Road Relocations, augmentation projects and special circuit requests. Utilizing the following tools; NDS, AutoCAD, Fireworks/Bidmaster, JDS, FORTE, WFMT, ARMOR, TIRKS, LFACS, and the full suite of Microsoft Office. As an OSP field engineer you will be assigned a geographic area and will be responsible for all OSP job requests. This position designs and acquires civil permits. Maintain positive interaction with Internal and External customers; maintain open conversation with Planning and all company departments providing high quality of service to the Forged Fiber 37 customers. Manage workload for a given area.
The Main Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

Prepare and update Engineering Work Orders for new builds, upgrades, relocations, and fiber deployments (FTTN, FTTH, FTTT, etc.).

Review design prints and redlines; apply corrections to ensure accuracy and construction readiness.

Develop OSP designs in 3GIS and utilize tools such as AutoCAD/CAD systems, Ivaula, Netsuite, Sitetracker, and Microsoft Office.

Process invoices, validate financial documentation, and resolve discrepancies.

Coordinate with vendors, developers, builders, and municipalities on project requirements and timelines.

Engage with city departments to secure permits and ensure regulatory compliance.

Support Engineering II and Senior Engineers and complete record updates as needed.
Requirements

Associate degree or equivalent experience.

5-7 years of telecommunications, engineering, or network planning experience.

Strong proficiency with engineering systems and Microsoft Office.

Ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with internal and external partners.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
