Software Dev Engineer II

Task Breakdown and Workflow:

• Task assigned by lead SDE
• Work with that lead to define the task and understand task
• Implement task
• Writing the code
• Testing
• Design may be required
• Sprint planning, daily sync meeting with lead

• EventBridge (instead of SNS/SQS, but we have some legacy SNS/SQS)
• Pipes
• Route 53
• Step Functions Skills
• We don't use Cloudscape
• Both frontend and backend are TypeScript (with one exception: the loadplan optimizer is Python, but our team is very committed to porting it to TypeScript
