Junior Network Administrator

Guardian Information Services Inc is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Network Administrator to join our growing IT team in Tampa, FL. • Monitor and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls
• Assist with network configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
• Support day-to-day IT operations and respond to network-related help desk tickets
• Assist in managing VPNs, LAN/WAN environments, and wireless networks
• Perform routine network maintenance, updates, and security patches
• Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports
• Collaborate with senior administrators on infrastructure projects and upgrades

• 1+ year of experience in network administration or a related IT role
• Foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network protocols
• Familiarity with firewalls, switches, APs and other networking hardware
• Basic understanding of network security principles and best practices
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-first attitude.
