This role supports a critical Workday Benefits Integration initiative, . The engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and owning Workday integrations, with a heavy emphasis on Workday Studio, while also supporting ongoing KTLO and backlog work.
Requirements
We are seeking a senior-level Workday Integration Engineer who can operate with minimal supervision, take ownership of integrations end-to-end, and confidently work with US-based stakeholders. This role blends hands-on development with business analysis responsibilities, as there is no separate BA supporting HRIS.
The ideal candidate has strong Workday Studio integration experience, has worked across Benefits, Core HCM, and portions of Payroll, and is comfortable leading requirement discussions, documenting solutions, and driving execution independently., Strong hands-on experience with Workday Studio (must be able to build complex integrations from scratch).

Strong experience in Workday HCM, with exposure to:

Portions of Payroll
Experience developing custom APIs and reports (REST, SOAP, RaaS).
Strong knowledge of:
XML, XSLT
Calculated fields
Workday security (integration and reporting security groups)
Hands-on experience with Workday developer tools (Studio, Postman/SOAP UI, Oxygen, etc.).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially when working directly with business users.
Proven ability to work independently and manage changing priorities. Workday Integration Certification (strongly preferred).
Prior experience leading or owning integrations in large, global Workday environments.
Strong experience with Benefits integrations, especially Benefitfocus / BeSwift.
