Job description
The IT End User Support Specialist provides technical support to employees by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role ensures users have reliable access to technology and business systems while delivering excellent customer service. The specialist works closely with the IT team to install, maintain, and support computer systems, mobile devices, printers, and enterprise applications., * Provide first-level technical support for desktop, laptop, printer, and mobile device issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows computers, software applications, and peripheral devices.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, and user account issues.
- Set up new employee workstations, including hardware, software, and user account configuration.
- Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and OneDrive.
- Perform password resets, account provisioning, and access management through Active Directory.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and system changes within the IT ticketing system.
Requirements
- Associate degree or coursework in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent technical experience).
- Minimum 2 years of End User Support experience
- Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with computer hardware, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
