Job description
A Senior Security Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the security posture of client organizations by designing, implementing, and managing security solutions tailored to their specific needs. This role involves understanding client requirements, configuring security technologies, serving as an escalation point in the SOC in monitoring systems for threats, and responding to security incidents., * Client Engagement:

Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements and objectives.

Provide recommendations for security improvements based on industry best practices and client-specific needs.

Showcase security technology and continuous improvement of security posture.

Solution Design and Implementation:

Design and implement security solutions such as endpoint detection and response (EDR), security information and event management (SIEM), secure access service edge (SASE), vulnerability and compliance solutions (VCM), and others.

Configure and deploy security technologies according to industry standards and best practices.

Integrate security solutions into client environments while considering scalability, performance, and ease of management.

Security Operations:

Assist Security Operation Center (SOC) staff to monitor security systems and tools for suspicious activities, security alerts, and potential threats.

Serve as escalation point to assist in investigating security incidents, determine root causes, and recommend remediation actions.

Manage and maintain security infrastructure, ensuring availability, reliability, and optimal performance.

Develop and maintain SOC specific use cases for various technologies.

Incident Response and Remediation:
-
Assist in developing and maintaining incident response plans and procedures.

Coordinate incident response efforts during security breaches or incidents.

Execute containment, eradication, and recovery activities to minimize impact and restore normal operations.

Document post-incident lessons learned and recommend improvements to prevent future occurrences.

Security Compliance and Reporting:

Ensure client environments comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS).

Generate and deliver regular security reports to clients, highlighting key metrics, trends, and insights.

Assist clients in responding to security audits and compliance assessments., * Senior Security Analyst may need to work outside regular business hours to respond to security incidents or perform maintenance activities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, etc., are preferred.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing security solutions in complex environments.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security principles.
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, etc.
- Familiarity with security frameworks, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to respond quickly to security incidents.
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
