Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Architect with extensive experience in software development, particularly in Microservices architecture using SpringBoot. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications. This role requires a deep understanding of microservices principles and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement microservices based applications using SpringBoot.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs in the application.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance development processes.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Document development processes, code changes, and application architecture.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Microservices architecture and SpringBoot framework.
  • Proficient in Java programming language.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
  • Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience in DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of security best practices in software development., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in software development with a focus on microservices.
  • Proven experience in leading software development projects.
  • Strong portfolio of completed projects demonstrating expertise in relevant technologies.
