Primary Responsibilities
Blue Door Consulting is organized in a lattice structure. The Business Strategy Consultant leads one of four teams, serving local, regional, national or global clients. Additionally, the Business Strategy Consultant serves as a Senior Buddy to other senior-level marketing consultants. As a Business Strategy Consultant, you will collaborate with and provide insights and guidance to the Leadership Team. To achieve this work, the Business Strategy Consultant will:
· Develop strategic plans that support growth at scale, through the identification of systems, processes, platforms and tools that support growth and profitability.
· Lead market and industry research and share resulting insights to help clients establish unique market positions and innovate to develop products, services or features to meet customer needs.
· Offer recommendations, strategies and tactics to help clients achieve business goals for local markets; measures and communicates results to clients with recommendations to amplify or adjust actions as needed.
· Serve as strategist for the Local Team in executing strategic recommendations.
· Ensure Blue Door Consulting quality standards are met for every deliverable produced through clear communication of expectations, a sound quality assurance process and training for all team members.
· Manage team operations, including oversight of scheduling and team development and participation in hiring new team members.
· Standardize, document and train team members on processes, Blue Door Consulting creative standard and why we buy (neuromarketing).
· Lead process improvement initiatives to achieve company goals, e.g., adoption of AI and other new and/or emerging technologies.
· Ensure team members reach billed hours goals, analyze performance and oversee improvements. Recommend improvements to the Leadership Team.
· Undertake professional development by reading professional publications, attending conferences or taking courses to improve and enhance individual and team knowledge.
· Stay current on marketing industry trends as well as client industry trends and what works to produce desired results.
· Identify opportunities to improve profitability and provide recommendations to Leadership Team.
· Champion special projects as assigned by the Leadership Team.

Requirements
· Influences without direct authority; manages complex projects with strong attention to quality, · A minimum of 12-15 years of experience in a similar role, including experience leading teams
· BA in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field preferred; Masters degree a plus!
· Interest in and knowledge of business strategy and operations in a diverse range of industries; knowledge of company financial performance and experience sharing insights related to creative team performance
· Mastery of market research techniques, analytics, digital advertising and project management platforms; strong knowledge of local marketing strategies and tactics, content marketing and social media platforms and tools
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suite (PowerPoint and Word required)
· Experience creating growth strategies that get results at scale
· Experience in a results-oriented environment with proven leadership skills, * Bachelor's (Required)
