Job description

The Workplace Investing Reporting & Insights Chapter team is looking for a full stack engineer to join our team to help deliver scalable web applications and AI (Artificial Intelligence) models into production. This role is a dynamic Agile engineering position where you will partner with your teammates on our development team and peer data scientists to assist with data analysis, reporting and research; conduct tactical data extracts and build balanced ETL data pipelines; deploy AI/ Machine learning models via RESTful APIs; and structure model output data and build reports to measure deployed model efficiency. If you have an inquisitive and consulting approach, excellent SQL skills, strong experience in building and deploying data movement solutions and/or data centric APIs and a passion for delivering innovative products and services that improve the lives of our customers, a career on the WI Analytics and Reporting squad could be for you!

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.
  • 5+ years of proven experience in full stack engineering
  • Consistent record of accomplishment of working in collaborative teams to deliver high quality data solutions in a multi-developer agile environment following coding standard methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Experience in design and development of enterprise-grade financial applications, using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and RESTful APIs
  • Proven expertise designing, developing, and integrating Java Web services using Spring Boot and Spring Security according to service-oriented and microservices architecture; and authenticating applications using Open Authorization (oAuth) and Spring MVC frameworks
  • Extensive knowledge on Cloud Technologies and services on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience working with database technologies including Snowflake, Oracle and PostgreSQL.
  • Knowledge on Kubernetes and Docker including AWS-EKS and Azure AKS.
  • Experience with building reports in Power BI preferred
  • Good Knowledge in Monitoring tools like, Splunk and Datadog.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills to understand complex customer needs and transactions
  • Ability to learn and experiment with new technologies and patterns
