This is a high-impact role for someone who can operate across engineering, infrastructure, security, reliability, and business visibility. The right candidate is not just a pipeline administrator. This person will own the cloud operating model, make the platform more secure, scalable, cost-efficient, and reliable, and provide leadership with clear visibility into infrastructure health and performance.

Key Responsibilities

Azure Infrastructure Ownership

  • Own the design, management, optimization, and continuous improvement of intelliSPEC's Azure infrastructure.

Infrastructure as Code

  • Build, maintain, and evolve Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Bicep, or equivalent IaC tools.

CI/CD and Release Engineering

  • Own and improve intelliSPEC's CI/CD pipelines across application, API, mobile, and platform services.
  • Build secure, reliable, and automated pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.

Security and DevSecOps

  • Support SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and customer security review readiness.

Observability, Reliability, and Incident Readiness

  • Build and manage observability across Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, alerts, dashboards, and incident workflows.
  • Create runbooks for incident response, disaster recovery, backup validation, environment recovery, and production support.

Cost Optimization and FinOps

  • Own Azure cost visibility, budget controls, tagging discipline, usage monitoring, and cost optimization recommendations.
  • Build infrastructure cost dashboards for leadership, engineering, and finance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, or cloud security.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience managing Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, or similar tools.
  • Experience managing Azure cost optimization, governance, tagging, budget controls, and cloud resource efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of DevSecOps practices and secure cloud architecture.
  • Ability to troubleshoot production issues across applications, infrastructure, network, identity, and deployment layers.
  • Ability to build executive-level dashboards using Power BI, Azure Workbooks, KQL, or equivalent BI and reporting tools.
  • Strong documentation skills, including runbooks, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and operational procedures.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently and drive outcomes.
