This position requires: US Government Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance Day 1 with the ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance after start.

What YOU will do:

Collaborate to capture, analyze, decompose, and trace system requirements.

Design, develop, and model complex systems and sub-systems.
-
Create and verify system and sub-system test procedures.
-
Build advanced SysML models for activities, states, block diagrams, and use cases.

Leverage JIRA to decompose epics and features into user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

Plan and execute project-level work to meet schedules, costs, and performance goals.
-
Manage technical risks by evaluating design aspects and requirements.

Represent the Systems Engineering team in customer and internal meetings.

Bridge the gap between functional discipline groups and internal/external stakeholders.

Engage in classified lab environments to apply your expertise hands-on. (On-site presence required.)

Travel occasionally to support program requirements

Requirements

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience

Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret after start.

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Leadership and mentoring experience systems engineering teams.

Experience with planning and executing project-level work to meet schedules, costs, and performance goals.

Proven track record in capturing customer requirements, operations concept development, deriving and tracing system and sub-system requirements.

Experience with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools - Expertise in building complex SysML models, including developing activity, state, block diagrams, use cases, etc.
Qualifications we prefer:

Proficiency with MBSE tools like MagicDraw CAMEO, Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect.

Agile experience as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, or other Agile leadership roles.

Knowledge of Project Management, Control Account Management (CAM), and earned value.

Familiarity with bidding and project/task estimation tools (e.g., SEER products).

Competence in peer review processes, configuration, and change management.
-
Experience conducting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
-
Understanding of military concepts of operations or radio performance standards.
Benefits & conditions
The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
