Job description
Under direct supervision, performs Nuclear Materials Control & Accountability (NMC&A) functions in support of DOE OSMS project operations. Responsible for assisting with the control, tracking, inventory verification, and movement of nuclear materials in compliance with DOE, statutory, and regulatory requirements as well as company policies and procedures. The specific work assignment may include duties or activities to support the organization in one or more of the following functional areas, * Provide technical, administrative, and functional support to the Nuclear Materials Control & Accountability team.
- Maintain data in nuclear material data capture and reporting systems.
- Process accounting records and update accounting systems.
- Assist with routine materials control activities.
- Generate reports, data files, and supporting documentation.
- Perform inventory verification checks and assess adequacy of record keeping.
- Check and file original documents and provide data verification for databases.
- Generate files and documents for tracking processes and material movements.
- Perform assigned tasks according to detailed instructions and established policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- +3 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
