Job description
Filters Help Desk calls and provides basic support and troubleshooting such as password resets, printer configurations, and break/fix instructions. Provides support by gathering and analyzing information about the user's issue and determines the best way to resolve their problem. Also provides support for identified Level II and Level III issues where configuration solutions have already been documented.
Performance: Position Specific Essential Functions
- Has the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain existing computers with no guidance or supervision.
- Answer the phone in a professional manner and provides first level support for Shannon computer systems, solving most first level issues before sending the call to Level II support.
- Provides outstanding after hours computer/ system support without missing calls from hospital operators. Able to solve most issues without the support from co-workers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Experience:
- Preferred
- One year of experience as a PC Technician
- Certification/Licensure
