Sr. Software Engineer

Sezzle Inc seeks a Sr. Software Engineer in Minneapolis, MN to design software applications and features in Galang, React, and React-native; Implement software solutions quickly and efficiently, leading the way by demonstrating good coding practices; Build out testing and reporting features to deliver high-quality, easily maintainable software; Coordinate with product, data, revenue and other company stakeholders to design market winning products; Develop and collect metrics to drive continuous improvement of existing products; Take charge of small developer teams, leading and mentoring junior developers as needed; Telecommuting from anywhere within the U.S. is permissible.

Position requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, and other closely related degrees and 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupations. Must have 3 years of experience in the following skills: Code management and version control using Git; Writing PHP, HTML, JS, CSS codes; Testing API with Postman; Managing web containers using Docker; Managing local servers using MAMP/XAMPP; Database management using MySQL; Building and/or serving REST using GO or a similar language.
