Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Technical Lead to lead the design, development, integration, and delivery of Salesforce solutions for Insurance clients. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can guide development teams, drive architectural decisions, establish best practices, and ensure successful project delivery across global teams., * Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning, and Salesforce platform technologies.

Drive technical decision-making, including evaluating configuration versus custom code approaches.

Oversee the development of scalable solutions across Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud environments.

Lead the design and implementation of integrations using REST, SOAP, and Web Service APIs.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to define technical strategies and roadmaps.

Guide development teams to ensure solution quality, performance, scalability, and compliance with best practices.

Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and promote technical excellence across the team.

Own technical estimates for design, development, testing, deployment, and training activities.

Coordinate with client stakeholders and offshore teams to ensure successful project execution
Requirements

9+ years of overall Salesforce experience with strong technical leadership capabilities.

6+ years of experience delivering solutions on Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.

3+ years of experience designing and implementing Salesforce integration solutions using REST, SOAP, and Web Service APIs.

Minimum 1 year of experience supporting Insurance clients.

Proven experience leading cross-functional, distributed, and offshore delivery teams.

Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, design patterns, and platform best practices.

Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and sprint-based delivery models.
-
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills., + Experience leading enterprise Salesforce transformation programs.

Additional Salesforce Architect certifications.
-
Experience performing solution governance and technical architecture reviews.
-
Prior experience in client-facing consulting or leadership roles.
Benefits & conditions
The annual salary for this position is between $115,000 and $140,000, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
This role is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program based on performance, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.
