What You'll Take Ownership Of: The Web Designer/ Graphic Designer is responsible for building digital brand awareness for both brick-and-mortar and e-commerce platforms by:
- Creating, executing, and supporting the look and feel of our digital media across all devices.
- Collaborating with various departments to create design solutions for web and mobile.
- Updating website content and producing attractive visual art that appeals to Acme Tools' customers
- Creating and presenting multiple creative solutions that show thoughtful approaches to strategy and marketing objectives.
- Reinforcing the brand look and feel across different platforms and channels
- Maintaining design documentation, style guides, and specifications
- Rolling with the punches with whatever other design task comes your way
Requirements

If so, do your best work with Acme Tools as a Web Designer/ Graphic Designer on our innovative, fast-growing eCommerce team!, * Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Design or related field or equivalent working experience
- 3-5 years experience with Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge and experience designing across multiple media and platforms
- Understanding of branding, style guidelines and following style restrictions
- Clean design sense
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work with a high level of autonomy and take initiative
- Excellent communication, planning, time management, and follow-through skills
- Natural visual thinker ready to grow and take direction from creative leadership
- Outstanding creative portfolio demonstrating conceptual and design skills with an eye for typography, composition, layout, color, and pixel-level attention to detail
Love-To-Haves:
- Experience with Figma
- Some experience in modern web design such as responsive design, HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
- Ability to select or modify existing photography or stock images that enhance design and brand
- Previous experience designing for an e-commerce website; including email, social media, and display advertising marketing.
