STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a ServiceNow Portal Developer on behalf of our client in Philadelphia, PA or Reston, VA. This role is ideal for a skilled ServiceNow professional with expertise in developing modern, scalable, and user-friendly portal experiences. The successful candidate will leverage ServiceNow Portal technologies to build responsive interfaces, develop reusable components, and deliver seamless digital experiences while following platform best practices., Design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow portals using Service Portal, Employee Center, and UI Builder. Build, customize, and maintain reusable widgets and UI components. Create responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces that provide an exceptional user experience. Implement role-based access controls and personalized portal experiences. Integrate portal components with ServiceNow applications, workflows, and external systems through APIs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Follow ServiceNow development standards and best practices, prioritizing configuration over customization. Requirements
Proven experience developing ServiceNow portals and user interfaces. Strong hands-on expertise with Service Portal, Employee Center, and UI Builder. Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AngularJS within the ServiceNow platform. Experience developing and customizing ServiceNow widgets and client/server-side scripting. Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and responsive web design. Experience integrating ServiceNow with backend modules and external systems using REST APIs. Strong knowledge of ServiceNow development standards, governance, and platform best practices. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Next Experience and the Now Experience Framework. Familiarity with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and ServiceNow integrations. ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or other relevant certifications are a plus.
