Job description
This is a hands-on Technical Lead role, not a Head-of or people-manager position. The individual will act as the primary technical execution lead supporting the Head of Digital Applications & AI, owning architecture, delivery quality, and technical decision-making across the digital ecosystem.
The role sits at the intersection of digital experience platforms, modern application engineering, and applied AI enablement. The Technical Lead will guide delivery across internal teams and a large system-integrator footprint, while remaining deeply involved in solution design, code-level decisions, and production readiness.
This role requires someone who can lead through influence, set the technical bar, mentor engineers and vendors, and ensure digital platforms are stable today while being built for AI-enabled personalization and self-service tomorrow.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Solution Ownership

Own architecture, design, and end-to-end technical delivery of digital initiatives

Ensure solutions are production-ready, scalable, secure, and reliable

Lead technical design discussions and trade-off decisions

Establish reusable components, patterns, and engineering best practices

Identify performance, scalability, and stability risks early
Modern Digital Application Delivery

Lead development of Angular / TypeScript front-end experiences
-
Design and build Node.js services and REST / GraphQL APIs
-
Implement AWS serverless architectures (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM)
-
Integrate enterprise platforms such as Salesforce and Guidewire
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications:

10+ years of overall software engineering experience
-
3-5+ years operating as a senior technical lead / technical owner

Strong hands-on experience with:

Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
-
Node.js, REST and GraphQL APIs
-
AWS serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM)

SQL and NoSQL databases
-
Experience with:

Cloud-native CI/CD pipelines
-
Docker
-
Terraform or CloudFormation
-
Experience integrating Salesforce or Guidewire (one required; both a plus)
Proven ability to lead and influence vendors and system integrators Nice-to-Have:

Benefits & conditions
Compensation: $65/hr to $71/hr Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
