Job description

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center is seeking an experienced Application Programmer to design, develop, and support healthcare interfaces using Rhapsody Integration Engine. This role is responsible for building and maintaining secure, reliable integrations between clinical and business systems to support high-quality patient care., * Design, develop, test, and maintain interfaces using Rhapsody Integration Engine.

  • Develop integrations using HL7, FHIR, XML, JSON, REST/SOAP APIs, and SQL.
  • Troubleshoot interface, performance, and data integrity issues.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, vendor, and IT teams on new integrations and system enhancements.
  • Monitor interface performance and maintain technical documentation.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, deployments, and production support.
  • Follow security, change management, and development best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience with Rhapsody Integration Engine.
  • Strong knowledge of HL7 v2, REST/SOAP web services, XML, JSON, SQL, and healthcare interoperability.
  • Experience troubleshooting complex interface issues.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with FHIR, EHR integrations, Git, CI/CD, and Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#.
  • Experience working in a HIPAA-regulated healthcare environment.
