Software Engineer

• Design, develop, and maintain code for our web-based applications, backend services, and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with software and production engineers to design scalable services, plan feature roll-out, and ensure high reliability and performance for your products.
• Conduct code reviews, contribute high-quality documentation and build robust test suites for your products.
• Contribute to our ongoing migration of legacy systems onto modern infrastructure.
• Collaborate with our infrastructure, data, e-commerce, and fraud teams to ship reliable, well-tested code.

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in software development, with proficiency in PHP, Python, Javascript, Vue, Nuxt, Tailwind, Postgres, and MongoDb.
• Strong project management skills and experience using Jira.
• Extra points for knowledge of C# and .NET, as well as experience with Microsoft Visual FoxPro.
• You have experience in a highly iterative environment.
• Ability and desire to learn new technologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience managing projects and working with both internal and external stakeholders is a plus

Nice to Have

• Experience with e-commerce platforms, payment processing, or high-volume transactional systems.
• Familiarity with modern deployment and infrastructure tooling (cloud platforms, CI/CD, containerization).
• Exposure to legacy-system modernization or data-migration projects.
• Interest in the trading card, sports, or collectibles space.
