Job description
Help Desk Liaison: Review incoming web development tickets and reach out directly to users to gather additional details, ensuring the development team has a crystal-clear understanding of the user's requested changes.
Ticket & Backlog Management: Support help desk operations by assigning, updating, and resolving tickets, alongside performing backlog maintenance for accurate tracking.
System Testing: Assist with functional and regression testing of web applications, workflows, and system updates (including SharePoint Online environments).
Documentation & Admin: Help create and maintain crucial system and configuration documentation (SharePoint Online), and support administrative tasks like security group setups under guidance.
Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with developers and analysts to identify technical issues, validate fixes, and support continuous system improvements.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Requirements
In this role, you will act as a vital bridge between our business users and the technical web development team. You don't need to be a master coder to succeed here-we provide on-the-job training! As long as you have a solid baseline with Microsoft 365, great computer skills, and an eagerness to learn, we want to talk to you.
The purpose of this role is to provide additional operational and system support to the Web Development team during periods of increased workload and ongoing project activity. This role will assist with system testing, documentation, and help desk ticket support to help maintain system stability and support business users.
What We Are Looking For Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortability asking clarifying questions to understand user needs is a must.
Tech Savvy: General technical proficiency with Microsoft 365 and computers.
Soft Skills: High level of attention to detail, ability to follow documented processes, and comfort working effectively in a professional office environment.
Additional skills: A general understanding or knowledge of software applications, web systems, or IT environments is helpful but not mandatory., Technical Environments: General knowledge or understanding of web systems, software applications, or IT infrastructure.
SharePoint Online: Prior exposure to SharePoint Online documentation, process tracking, or basic security group configuration.
Help Desk Experience: Familiarity with help desk ticketing systems, backlog maintenance, or basic workflow/regression testing.
Education: High School
Experience: 1-4 years
Qualifications: Technical Proficiency with Microsoft 365: Solid baseline understanding of Microsoft 365 applications and general computer experience.
Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to ask clarifying questions and act as a professional liaison between users and technical teams.
High Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately track, document, and follow step-by-step processes for ticket maintenance and system testing.
Professionalism: Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a corporate office environment.
Education: High School Diploma or GED.
