Job description
The IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of an organization's hardware systems and infrastructure. This role involves managing the planning, implementation, maintenance, and security of hardware components, networks, servers, and related systems. The IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager collaborates with various teams to ensure the smooth functioning and optimization of hardware resources to support business operations effectively.

- Hardware Procurement and Management: Procure, deploy, and manage hardware assets including servers, networking equipment, computers, and peripherals.
- Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Plan, design, and implement IT infrastructure solutions that align with organizational needs.
- Systems Administration: Oversee day-to-day operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of user computers, hardware systems, servers, and network devices.
- Security Management: Implement and maintain security measures to protect hardware and infrastructure from cyber threats.
- Capacity Planning and Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and plan for future capacity needs to support organizational growth.
- Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Develop and maintain plans for the recovery of hardware and infrastructure in case of disaster.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with hardware and infrastructure vendors, including contract negotiation and oversight of service level agreements.
- Team Leadership and Development: Lead a team responsible for hardware and infrastructure management, providing guidance and support for professional growth.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for hardware and infrastructure projects and operations.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports on hardware and infrastructure configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Technology Evaluation and Innovation: Stay updated on emerging technologies and evaluate their potential impact on the organization.

- Office 365 global tenant administration including SharePoint, Exchange administration, and Intune in hybrid and cloud environments., * Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, and legal documents, respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference and apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, interpret technical instructions in mathematical form and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
Travel required
- Ability to travel 10% of time., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience in IT Infrastructure and Operations is required to demonstrate expertise in the field.
- Proven experience in hardware management, infrastructure design, and network administration, preferably in a managerial or leadership role.
- Strong technical expertise in hardware components, operating systems, networking protocols, and cybersecurity principles.
Preferred education and experience
- Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSE, CISSP) preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to anticipate challenges, identify opportunities, and develop innovative solutions.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting processes, and vendor management practices.
