Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) has an exciting opportunity and immediate need for E-7ASystems Engineers to join our E-7A Systems Engineering team based in Tukwila, WA. Due to expanding business, we are looking for Engineers with a multi discipline skill set who can build a systems engineering baseline, solve problems, integrate across teams, and lead solutions across multiple Engineering disciplines.
The E-7 is the world's most advanced, capable, and reliable Airborne Early Warning and Control (AEW&C) platform, having proven itself in operations around the world. The aircraft is designed to track multiple airborne and maritime targets simultaneously. It can provide situational awareness and direct other assets such as fighter jets and warships. This position will work across multiple E-7A programs supporting development of new capabilities for the E-7A program in a dynamic and engaging environment.
Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate or Experienced Level Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
- Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
- Conducts trade studies with technical experts to define design solutions and resolve issues.
- Work with stakeholders to convert capability needs, CONOPS, and use cases into feasible system architecture concepts.
- Conducts analysis or work with analysts to derive performance requirements and measure performance.
- Develops the planning, organization, implementation, and monitoring of interface management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management, and technology readiness assessment processes.
- Develops the planning and execution of System Engineering best practices.
- Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
- 1+ years of experience with developing, documenting and maintaining complex architectures, requirements, algorithms, software-to-hardware interfaces and designs for software systems.
- Experience with requirements validation and verification.
- Experience in model-based development environment tools (Scade, Matlab/Simulink, etc.) or requirements configuration management tools (DOORS)., * Level 3: 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience with military platforms.
- Technical knowledge of aircraft, mission and ground systems for military platforms.
- Experience in system architecture development and modeling tools (CAMEO/MSOSA, Rhapsody).
- Ability to collaborate with team members and create plans for executing on deliverables.
- Experience in interface development and documentation.
- Experience in risk, issue, and opportunity management.
- Experience in Airworthiness and Certification (including FAA, EASA, Military).
- INCOSE Certification., This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee., Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Required, This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for Associate level (Level 2): $98,600 - $133,400
