Working Student - Artificial Intelligence & Backend - J25838

• Develop Python backend applications using frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI
• Design and implement AI-driven features, including embeddings, vector search, and semantic search
• Create, maintain, and optimize REST APIs
• Automate backend workflows through Jenkins pipelines
• Optimize SQL databases for performance, reliability, and scalability
• Ensure overall system stability and high availability
• Collaborate closely with AI, frontend, and product teams based in Düsseldorf
• Participate in agile ceremonies, code reviews, and team discussions
• Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving the technology stack and development processes

• Degree or equivalent experience in Software Engineering or Computer Science
• Python backend development experience is a bonus
• Knowledge of AI/ML concepts
• REST API, CI/CD (Jenkins), SQL experience
• Docker is a plus
• Git proficiency
• Fluent in English; German is optional
• Excited about building AI-powered backend systems
