Job description

The software market evolves constantly - and so do we. At baramundi, we continuously improve how we build and deliver software in the field of Unified Endpoint Management (UEM). To strengthen our development organization, we are looking for an experienced Agile Coach who helps teams grow, challenges existing ways of working, and actively shapes how our organization collaborates and evolves.

You will work with multiple development teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders - and partner with leadership to evolve ways of working beyond team level. In addition, you will lead the Agile Coaching Chapter and thereby strengthen the development of shared coaching standards and the effectiveness of agile ways of working across the organization. This is a hands-on role: you coach, facilitate, remove impediments, and create the conditions for reliable delivery of valuable increments. At our locations in Augsburg and Sibiu (Romania), you'll join an experienced, collaborative environment where software development, testing, product ownership, and agile coaching go hand in hand. We offer up to 70% remote work and a culture that values real product impact and open, honest feedback.

Do what you do best:

  • ENABLE TEAMS TO GROW AND DELIVER You support multiple development teams in becoming more effective, self-organized, and cross-functional. You help them continuously improve collaboration, flow, and delivery - with a clear focus on outcomes
  • LEAD THE AGILE COACHING CHAPTER You take disciplinary leadership of the Agile Coaches and strengthen professional excellence within the chapter. Together, you develop coaching standards, foster exchange and development, and drive agile practices, facilitation, impediment management, and continuous improvement across the organization
  • GUIDE AGILE PRACTICES PRAGMATICALLY You help teams apply and adapt frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and scaling approaches to their real context - not by the book but driven by outcomes
  • FACILITATE MEANINGFUL INTERACTIONS You design and facilitate impactful workshops, meetings, and change formats (team-level and cross-team). You create clarity, alignment, and progress - especially in complex or high-stakes situations
  • REMOVE IMPEDIMENTS AND DRIVE IMPROVEMENT You help teams identify and resolve impediments, organizational frictions, conflicts, and risks early on. You navigate tensions constructively and support sustainable solutions instead of quick fixes
  • SUPPORT RELIABLE DELIVERY OF VALUABLE INCREMENTS You help establish the conditions for successful delivery: clear goals, healthy team dynamics, effective planning, and strong collaboration across interfaces - so teams can consistently deliver valuable Done increments
  • STRENGTHEN ENGINEERING AND DELIVERY PRACTICES You promote sustainable development practices such as pairing/mobbing, refactoring, test strategies, CI/CD and other engineering practices. You help teams improve quality and delivery capability without sacrificing long-term maintainability
  • SHAPE THE ORGANIZATION Together with your peers in the Agile Coaching Chapter, you work on cross-team and organizational challenges and actively contribute to how baramundi evolves

Requirements

  • Several years of experience working with agile teams, ideally in complex or scaled environments, as well as leadership experience
  • Strong practical understanding of agile and lean principles, including flow-based systems (e.g. Kanban) and concepts such as Flight Levels and value stream optimization
  • Experience with frameworks such as Scrum, XP, as well as goal-setting approaches such as OKRs, and scaling approaches (e.g. SAFe or LeSS)
  • Experience or strong interest in AI-supported ways of working, with the ability to guide teams in adopting AI responsibly and effectively
  • Proven strength in facilitation, coaching, team development, and conflict resolution
  • The ability to navigate diverse stakeholders - from teams to management
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership
  • Experience in identifying and resolving impediments, organizational tensions and risks early
  • A degree or comparable practical experience
  • Business fluent in German and English, We believe in values and live them: togetherness and trust. Courage, enthusiasm, and competence. Our communication culture is open and honest. Just like the regular team feedback sessions.
