As our Application Design Engineer - Data Center Solutions , you'll play a key role in supporting the growth of Danfoss solutions in one of the fastest-growing industries-data center cooling.
Your impact? You'll help customers and internal teams understand how Danfoss technologies fit into real-world cooling applications by translating complex technical requirements into practical hydronic solutions. Through your technical expertise, you'll strengthen customer confidence, support early-stage projects, and contribute to developing innovative, energy-efficient cooling solutions.
You'll collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Product Management, R&D, Technical Support, and customers worldwide, helping bridge the gap between customer needs and Danfoss technologies.
What You'll Be Doing
Support customers and internal teams by translating cooling system requirements into practical Danfoss application and component solutions. Provide application engineering expertise for hydronic systems, including liquid cooling, flow and pressure control, temperature regulation, and related HVAC technologies. Prepare technical recommendations, application documentation, hydraulic calculations, and solution proposals to support customer projects and business development activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate solutions, troubleshoot technical challenges, and continuously improve application knowledge and documentation. Contribute to the development of scalable application concepts, technical guidelines, and sales enablement materials for the growing data center market.
Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Energy Systems, Mechatronics, or another related technical field. Experience in application engineering, HVAC, hydronic systems, cooling technologies, or a similar technical role. Good understanding of hydraulic systems, flow and pressure control, valves, actuators, sensors, heat exchangers, pumps, and related components. Strong customer-facing communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly and collaborate across international teams. Very good English knowledge and willingness to travel occasionally to support customer meetings, workshops, and project activities.
