Job description

You'll work closely with the Senior Information Manager and Information Controllers to ensure project information is stored, distributed and maintained in line with our standards and procedures. This role will be supporting our Defence Nuclear projects from inception to client handover., + Support the administration of project documentation within the Common Data Environment (Viewpoint for Projects).

  • Assist with quality checks on incoming and outgoing documents.
  • Help maintain document registers and logs.
  • Issue and track Information Transmittals under guidance.
  • Provide basic user support and troubleshooting for Viewpoint for Projects.
  • Help maintain the internal SharePoint site for document storage and retrieval.
  • Assist with archiving and data retention activities.
  • Ensure secure handling of sensitive information in line with classification protocols.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to support document control processes.
  • Maintain physical and digital records in the site office with clear traceability.

Requirements

  • Some experience in document or information management, ideally within construction or infrastructure.
  • Basic understanding of Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS); experience with Viewpoint for Projects or similar is desirable.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach.
  • Awareness of ISO19650 is beneficial but not essential - training will be provided.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • UK Sole National requirement
