Job description

Successful candidates will serve in a QA testing role on our upcoming title, Reforj, through its various stages of development, reporting to our internal Lead QA., * Execute test plans to identify bugs according to the testing schedule set out by our Lead QA.

  • Create detailed Bug Reports to assist the software team in reproducing and resolving issues.
  • Develop and maintain Test Suites to ensure full test coverage for the project.
  • Manage game testing hardware to support internal testing, playtests and feature reviews.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to game designers, artists, and the software team to improve the playability, stability, and overall entertainment value of our games.
  • Cultivate a positive team dynamic and collaborative atmosphere.

Requirements

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join us as an entry-level QA Tester in our Dundee studio. We are looking to provide this opportunity to an enthusiastic and proactive individual with a passion for games., * Demonstrable knowledge of software QA processes and best practices, with an overall interest in game development and game hardware.

  • Demonstrable understanding of game industry terminology, tools, processes, and production methodologies.
  • The ability to work well within a collaborative creative environment, working closely with game designers, artists, programmers, and senior management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Passion for the latest PC/console games and game hardware., * Relevant experience in software QA testing, preferably in PC/console games.
  • Practical experience working with Game Engines.
  • Experience using common QA tools and bug databases like JIRA, Azure, etc., * Undergraduate degree in a relevant field., * Must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
