As a Software Engineer Sr within PNC's C&IB's organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Dallas, TX.

Looking for Java Full Stack to build and scale modern, high-performing applications. You'll work across the stack developing responsive React UIs, building robust Java APIs, and driving automated deployments through CI/CD pipelines.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy owning features end-to-end, working in fast-paced environments, and solving real-world problems at scale., * Build and enhance full-stack web applications (React + Java/Spring Boot)

  • Design and implement REST APIs and microservices
  • Integrate with external systems and APIs
  • Develop responsive UI components using React
  • Automate builds, testing, and deployment using CI/CD pipelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the stack
  • Collaborate with product, UX, QA, and DevOps teams, * Backend: Java, Spring Boot
  • Frontend: React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
  • Database: Oracle / PostgreSQL / MongoDB
  • CI/CD: Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab CI
  • AI: Agentic and prompt engineering

  • Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
  • Writes code, tests and deploys software.
  • Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in Java (Spring Boot) and backend services
  • Hands-on experience with ReactJS, JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices
  • Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and data modeling

DevOps & CI/CD

  • Experience with:

o Git (version control)

o Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab CI

o Maven / Gradle

Experience with

o Docker (containerization)

o Kubernetes (deployment & scaling), * Experience working with distributed systems and APIs

  • Agentic and Prompt Engineering
