Job description

Join our Epic team supporting Community Connect clinics across the South Bay. In this role, you will play a key part in Epic go-lives and ongoing clinic support, helping ensure our systems run smoothly while improving access and workflows for care teams. The Epic Cadence Analyst partners closely with operational and clinical teams to coordinate, review, analyze, and maintain Epic applications. Responsibilities include gathering system specifications, configuration, testing, modification, activation, and ongoing system support. This role collaborates with end users across the organization-including physicians, nurses, pharmacists, Patient Accounts, and HIM-to understand current workflows, define system requirements, collect and analyze data, identify issues, and drive opportunities for process improvement. This is a hybrid position, with onsite presence required during Epic go-live events to support clinic teams across South Bay., Sedentary Work - Duties performed mostly while sitting; walking and standing at times. Occasionally lift or carry up to 10 lbs. Uses hands and fingers. - (Physical Requirements-United States of America)

Requirements

  1. Some college education with Bachelor's degree preferred.

  2. At least 1.5 years' experience with implementing Clinical or revenue cycle/business Applications

  3. At least two (2) years experience in an acute care hospital or ambulatory clinic.

  4. Experience coordinating team projects

  5. Experience with Epic and relevant clinical systems.

  6. Knowledge of medical terminology

  7. Excellent communication skills, oral and written, interpersonal, organizational, and computer skills. Proven ability with Excel, Word, and Outlook.

  8. Ability to work with minimum supervision and to interact well with all levels of employees and physicians throughout the organization, participate in intra- and interdepartmental collaboration, and handle multiple tasks concurrently to meet deadlines.

  9. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to do report writing, meeting minutes, and update/change/make project plans.

License/Certification/Registration Requirements

  1. Epic CADENCE certification is Required
