Job description

As a GenAI Architect, you will define and lead the Generative AI architecture and adoption journey across SI Buildings Product (SI B PRO). This is a high-impact role for a senior architect who wants to shape how GenAI is applied at scale across products engineering, in a global technology organization. In this role, you will establish the architectural foundations, standards, and governance needed to turn GenAI from isolated experimentation into durable enterprise capability. You will lead the design and rollout of an AI agentic SDLC framework for software and firmware development, helping engineering teams accelerate delivery, improve quality, and adopt GenAI in a secure, responsible, and scalable way. Working at the intersection of architecture, engineering transformation, cybersecurity, and product development, you will help shape the next generation of AI-enabled ways of working.

Would you also like to play an active role in influencing current trends and developments and make a positive impact on the lives of millions of people in Switzerland? Then you've come to the right place! Apply today for the position of GenAI Architect - your team is looking forward to meeting you!

Your new responsibilities

  • GenAI Strategy & Leadership: Define and evolve the GenAI architecture, standards, and adoption roadmap across SI B PRO, aligning AI initiatives with business priorities, product roadmaps, engineering needs, and responsible AI principles
  • AI Architecture: Architect scalable GenAI and agentic AI solutions across product development environments, including orchestration patterns, knowledge integration, tool access, API connectivity, model interaction, and deployment approaches
  • Agentic AI SDLC Framework: Lead the design and implementation of an AI agentic SDLC framework for software and firmware teams, embedding AI-assisted and agent-based capabilities across requirements, architecture, coding, testing, security, deployment, and lifecycle management
  • Engineering Enablement & Adoption: Define reusable reference architectures, guardrails, and best practices, and enable development teams through practical guidance, playbooks, and collaboration models that support broad and effective adoption
  • Governance, Security & Compliance: Establish architecture patterns and controls that embed measurability, security, privacy, responsible AI, auditability, and regulatory alignment into GenAI solutions and operating models
  • Platform & Ecosystem Integration: Drive integration of GenAI capabilities with engineering toolchains, cloud platforms, enterprise systems, and product development environments to enable scalable and interoperable implementation
  • Innovation & Technology Evaluation: Assess emerging GenAI models, frameworks, and vendors, and translate relevant innovation into strategic recommendations, reusable capabilities, and architectural direction for SI B PRO

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in software architecture, enterprise architecture, AI/ML, or related technology leadership roles, including hands-on experience with Generative AI solutions
  • Experience in designing and implementing enterprise-grade AI or GenAI architectures, including LLM-based applications, agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and AI platform integration
  • Strong understanding of software and firmware development lifecycles, DevSecOps practices, and how AI can be embedded across engineering workflows in a scalable and well-governed way
  • Good understanding of AI governance, cybersecurity, privacy, and regulatory landscapes relevant to enterprise AI adoption (e.g., EU AI Act, ISO 42001, ISO 27001, CRA, NIS2, secure AI practices)
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills, with the ability to translate complex AI concepts into practical business and engineering outcomes
  • Experience working across cloud platforms, developer toolchains, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns is highly desirable
  • Fluent in English
