Communication Systems Product Manager for Combat Aircraft

• Lead the design, development, qualification, and certification of the Communications System, including Audio Management System, Radios, Tactical and Mission Datalinks, and SATCOM.
• Translate customer needs, program constraints, regulatory requirements, and technology readiness into technical decisions for efficient development, on-time delivery, and customer acceptance.
• Manage the operational delivery of the system from offer phase to contract signature and flight clearance.
• Provide technical leadership and liaison with Chief Engineering Office, Program Office, and Customer.
• Oversee development lifecycle, schedule, cost, quality, and risk management.
• Motivate and lead multifunctional teams.

• Degree in Aeronautical, Telecommunications, or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of engineering experience.
• Experience in avionics and communications hardware and software integration.
• Background in technical team management.
• Project management experience.

• English and Spanish - negotiation level.

Position within Airbus Defence and Space in Getafe, Madrid tasked with leading the overall design, development, and qualification of the Communications System (HW and SW) for combat aircraft.
