In this context, we are looking for an IT Tech Lead.
The IT NEO Tech Lead has full technology accountability of the product throughout the entire life cycle, including user needs, communication, build, transition, operations, support, continual improvement and decommissioning.
The IT NEO Tech Lead is instrumental in ensuring the sustainability and the cost efficiency of its products with the primary target to deliver value of outstanding quality for the Group.
The IT NEO Tech Lead will have a primary focus on delivering software within the eCommerce platform., * Collaborate with program Architects to define technical vision for assigned projects and initiatives
- Define technical standards and architecture within the team
- Provide technical guidance to the team, resolving technical impediments
- Mentor and support the technical growth of the team, fostering development to build high-performing teams
- Monitor team members performance and provide proper visibility to Delivery Managers and IT Owners
- Be responsible to ensure the changes are delivered in terms of quality, budget & stability from their conception to their launching/go-live and further maintenance, aligned with the project's roadmap
- Drive the development and production activities of the team, ensuring excellent quality on deliverables
- Ensure security best practices are in place and applied in all phases of the SDLC
- Collaborate with Scrum Masters activities to support and comply with agile best practices
- Embrace and share a mindset of continuous improvement
- Actively participate in technical communities, providing valuable insights, updates and lessons learned
- Ensure team discussion and engagement in all phases of the SDLC
Solution design
- Understand business needs and translate them into viable and valuable technical solutions
- Design robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions
- Ensure that the technical solutions are aligned with the integral IT strategy
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Delivery Managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Ensure adherence to architectural principles and best software development practices
Hands-on development
- Contribute to the codebase, particularly for critical or complex functionalities
- Lead by example in writing clean, efficient and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and drive technical issues resolution
- Promote and perform Code reviews for the team developments
Project delivery and Quality assurance
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners and Delivery Managers to define, review and validate technical feasibility of timelines and deliverables
- Ensure proper testing strategy and execution are in place
- Be a main actor in all activities related to reduce defects to zero
- Be responsible for stability and security for assigned projects in line with changes requested by IT Owners and/or business stakeholders
- Provide relevant and on-time compliance evidence within scope, including security and assets management
- Proactively monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement
- Be accountable for bug triage and on-time resolution
Onboarding
- Be a main actor in all activities related to new members hiring process
- Design and maintain a technical onboarding plan tailored to the project and new member's role
- Ensure clear and concise instructions and support are in place for local development setup
- Ensure codebase, conventions and architecture guides are in place for onboarding new members
Requirements
- Experience in Agile Methodologies and frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
- Proven experience in software development with increasing level of responsibility
- Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns and architectural best practices
- Ability to analyse and understand both technical and business documentations and needs and translate them into viable products
- Ability to work under pressure, to be able to quickly identify shifting priorities and provide concise and effective communication to appropriate parties
- Ability to direct and design solutions based on available and future technologies and architectures
- Ability to forecast and plan for upcoming deliverables
- Ability to manage expectations, both internal and external without compromising solution integrity in the face of shifting priorities
