Job description

We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking IT Manager to lead and develop our technology operations in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys driving IT strategy, maintaining secure and reliable infrastructure, and supporting business growth through innovative technology solutions.

Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, you will oversee day-to-day IT operations while identifying opportunities to improve systems, security, and service delivery., * Lead, mentor, and develop the internal IT team.

  • Manage IT infrastructure, networks, servers, cloud environments, and business-critical systems.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security across all technology platforms.
  • Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Oversee cybersecurity initiatives, risk management, and data protection compliance.
  • Manage software, hardware, and technology vendors, ensuring cost-effective service delivery.
  • Plan and deliver IT projects, upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, and minimise downtime.
  • Prepare and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and technology roadmaps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align technology solutions with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an IT Manager or senior IT leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, cloud technologies, networking, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
  • Familiarity with virtualisation technologies, endpoint management, and enterprise security tools.
  • Strong project management, vendor management, and budgeting experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL, Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA, or equivalent are advantageous.
