As a Principal in the Cyber Security Defense Metrics and Reporting team, you will play an essential role in developing Ally's cyber defense strategy. You will be responsible for managing internal and external reporting communications, leading metric definition, data gathering, and dashboard design. Your contributions will directly affect the success of Ally's Cyber Defense program by measuring performance and uncovering opportunities for improvement. The Work Itself
The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership qualities and have a detailed understanding of cyber defense operating models and processes. You will be tasked with:

Defining, collecting, and presenting performance data to strengthen the Cyber Defense Program.

Leading groundbreaking metrics-related initiatives within the CD3R organization.

Aligning team processes, data capture capabilities, and metrics reporting with business goals.

Crafting, building, testing, deploying, and maintaining metric dashboards and reporting channels.

Tackling issues and minimizing risks related to metrics and reporting duties.
Requirements
-
7+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
-
Over 2 years of experience in Cyber Defense
-
Over 2 years of experience in enterprise-level metrics reporting

Experience with agile project management tools like JIRA and Confluence
-
Proficiency in reporting tools such as Power BI, PowerPoint, Confluence, Jira
-
Familiarity with data quality and statistics
-
Strong risk management and problem-prevention skills
-
Proficiency in database query languages (SQL, etc.)

Cyber Defense Certification - ISC2 - Cyber Security
-
Six Sigma Certification - Green Belt or higher
