Join our dynamic team as an Onsite IT Technician and become a vital part of maintaining and optimizing our organization's technology infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver hands-on technical support, troubleshoot equipment and software issues, and ensure seamless network operations across our facilities. As an Onsite IT Technician, you will be the go-to expert for resolving technical challenges swiftly, supporting end-users, and maintaining the health of our IT environment across numerous construction site locations. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will contribute directly to the efficiency and productivity of our teams., * Provide immediate onsite support for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues to ensure minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot computer hardware components, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and mobile devices to identify root causes and implement solutions.
- Manage user accounts and permissions to enforce security policies.
- Support network infrastructure by troubleshooting LAN/WAN connectivity, DNS configurations, TCP/IP settings, VPN access, firewalls, and network switches.
- Maintain and update IT and equipment assets, manage ticketing, equipment/vehicle maintenance scheduling and management.
- Assist with computer management tasks including OS deployment, software installation, updates, and hardware upgrades.
Requirements
- Proven experience in technical support or IT support roles with a focus on desktop support and network troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of computer hardware components, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and software troubleshooting techniques.
- Hands-on experience managing DNS settings, TCP/IP protocols, VPN configurations, firewalls, and LAN/WAN networks.
- Familiarity with enterprise tools.
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, DHCP configuration, and network security best practices.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset; able to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
- Ability to analyze problems quickly and develop effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or Cisco CCNA are a plus.
- We require fluency in English and Spanish.
- Home automation is a key part of our ongoing projects, maintenance and deployment is a key function of this position.
- Assist with research and development of new and emerging technologies.
- We allow a hybrid work environment allowing work both remotely, and between sites throughout the greater Los Angeles area on demand.
