Job description

  • You implement and secure the continuous development of the tracking technology landscape - including Google Tag Manager (client-side and server-side), Emarsys, Zeotap, BigQuery and FireStore
  • Existing tagging setups are audited systematically by you, with broken or inefficient implementations identified and resolved
  • Tracking methodologies are standardised and processes documented in a way that enables cross-team use and ensures transparency
  • You automate data pipeline deployments using CI/CD best practices, contributing to the scalability of our infrastructure
  • Sensitive customer data is protected by you, and compliance with applicable privacy regulations - in particular the GDPR - is ensured on an ongoing basis
  • Performance marketing teams are advised by you on tracking requirements for campaigns, with regular reporting on data quality
  • Technical constraints are communicated clearly, and pragmatic solutions to business challenges are developed in close collaboration with the relevant departments

Requirements

  • You bring solid, extensive experience in implementing tracking solutions - both client-side and server-side - and have successfully applied these in complex environments
  • JavaScript is a tool you work with confidently; ideally, you have also gained experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue or comparable technologies
  • In the area of data engineering or MarTech engineering, you bring initial knowledge or a genuine interest in developing your expertise in this field
  • Complex technical contexts are communicated by you in a clear and audience-appropriate way - whether working with technical teams or non-technical stakeholders
  • Privacy requirements such as the GDPR are familiar to you and are proactively considered in your work
  • You communicate confidently in both German and English
