Java Software Engineering Manager Remote

Provide technical leadership: guide the team on design, architecture, implementation, validation, and monitoring

• Drive execution excellence: manage backlog, assign tasks, track progress, and mitigate risks

• Lead and inspire through a growth mindset and core values (integrity, accountability, respect)

• Own the DevOps lifecycle: you build it, you own it, you run it

• Ensure high performance, quality, and responsiveness of solutions

• Oversee all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Align team efforts with Product Management goals and vision

We are looking for a Java Software Engineering Manager with strong technical expertise, leadership mindset, and experience working in international environments., Proven experience as Software Engineering Manager or Technical Lead

• Experience working with international customers

• Deep understanding of SDLC and software engineering principles

• Strong knowledge of design patterns (e.g., SOLID)

• Advanced Java programming skills and API development

• Experience with testing methodologies (Unit, API, Acceptance, Load)

• Expertise in distributed architectures (SOA, Microservices)

• Experience with event-driven architectures and REST APIs

• Hands-on experience with AWS services

• Familiarity with Gradle or Maven

• Experience with Enterprise Jenkins

• Agile methodologies experience (Scrum, SAFe)

• English C1

Nice to have:

• Experience in highly regulated environments (e.g., banking)

• Knowledge of Docker

• AWS certification

• Experience with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Fargate)

• Hands-on experience with TDD and BDD, software engineering,aws,java,software architecture,software testing,people management,customer relationship management
